(Builder’s Remedy)
Builder’s Remedy seems like the only solution to our city’s need for housing.
Modular Design
Its modular system allows for development that responds directly to the site and the community. Allowing for unlimited combinations of housing, ranging from a single ADU to a single family house to a multifamily building, as a way to combat missing middle housing.
Passive House
Its SIP modular construction allows for a quick construction time as well as helping create a passive house system that creates thermal continuity. Although that is not the only passive house strategy we employed in our building design, we also designed the green roofs to have native and adaptive plants that create a thermal mass above the units.
